Support from management
Constant phone calls from manager at all hours of the day/night. Was in office when she told another coworker everyone she worked with is idiots.
No respect from management
Overall compensation for your work
Benefits were not offered as all employees are PRN. Pay was horrible. $8/hr didn't matter how many years experience you had.
Management did not provide gloves for home health aides. Had to be purchased by us.
I worked almost 60 hrs a week as a PRN person. One girl worked 140 plus hours in 2 weeks. If you tell the manager you can't work she will continue to call and harass you.
Job was constantly being threated. If you didn't pick up a shift when the manager called you she would take you off the schedule completely.
Suggestions for improvement
- Get rid of the manager! Bring in the scheduler she let go in Dec. She actually had health care experience and could run the place!
What I like about the company
Nothing. Worst job I have ever had!
What I dislike about the company
The manager constantly changing the schedule even after scheduler handed them out. Being harassed at all hours of the day/night to pick up shifts.
