Most employees complained that they were not appreciated which has resulted in high staff turnover. Leadership had been quoted stating that raises should only be given if a person goes above their duty, which is why most employees have not had raises for 8 years. Also I have seen supervisors that yelled at employees, which I felt was not appropriate for working in a mental health field.
Support from Management
Staff had concerns about the competency of the leadership from the unit level up to the executive level. The employees were very disgruntled over the changes instituted by the new management starting 7 years ago.
