Suggestions for improvement

  • Create a document, that is accessible company wide, that clearly outlines billable services and how to document them. There is too much "guessing" and difference between units.

What I like about the company

I was going through a very difficult time in my home life and my bosses were empathetic, supportive, and strongly encouraged me to take care of myself.

What I dislike about the company

The company could work on uniform employee expectations.

Suggestions for improvement

  • For being a agency that provides supportive and caring services to others, I believe Valley Behavioral Health would be a more pleasant place to work if the same awareness was given to it's employees. A warmer, friendly culture would go a long way.

What I like about the company

I loved working with the population that Valley Behavioral Health provides services for including low income families and young children. Valley does have a "pay per performance" option that promotes reimbursed high productivity which was nice. There is also no shortage of clients, so required productivity is easy to reach.

What I dislike about the company

I believe Valley Behavioral Health could do a better job of supporting employees through a variety of ways. Employees would appreciate more direction, engagement, and personal outreach from management.
