Culture is very family-like, but also "old school"
Support from management
Management is encouraging, but there is little direction or training as the Digital Marketing Specialist, so this type of role requires an independent self-starter to figure things out on their own.
Freedom to work independently
Regular company meetings to go over sales as it was a sales organization.
Office / Work Environment
Suggestions for improvement
- Provide training that goes beyond shadowing current employees.
What I like about the company
I really liked the tight-knit feel of the team as it truly was a family business that's been operating for decades. They value hard work and reward it justly.
What I dislike about the company
Because it was a family business and rooted in traditions, it was a bit old-school and maybe put too much emphasis on "working harder" rather than working smarter. Not a lot of training opportunities which could lead younger employees astray.
