Not a great place to work

2.00

Company Culture

terrible, they don't tell employees the truth and morale is very low

Support from management

management mis-informs or blatantly lies to employees, potential employees, and clients (students) in order to accomplish corporate goals

Teamwork

team works together pretty well as facilitated by management, but management does not share essential information with the staff

Freedom to work independently

management tells staff they are in charge of their programs, but that is not the case, if you don;t do what they want your job is threatened

Internal Communication

management misinforms at best and blatantly lies to staff at worst about many essential things regarding the workplace

Office / Work Environment

a lot of things don't work properly, including plumbing, electrical and essential equipment ... computers are over 15 years old, very slow but management expects staff to work over to accommodate out dated equipment that is extremely inefficient

Environmental Friendliness

we kill trees at an unprecedented rate, among other things, there is little to no regard for environmental issues, recycling, or conservation, just get things done no matter the cost in environmental concerns

Work-Life Balance

management is constantly pressuring all employees to work more / extra hours to make up for inefficient equipment and bad management decisions, especially salaried staff who are expected to work many more hours than as advertised for the position and jobs are threatened if you don't comply with those dictates

Job Security

jobs are threatened weekly if you express any opinion that is the the politically correct company line ... they not only discourage thinking outside the box, they do not want anyone to speak any discouraging thoughts about their policies, no matter whether they are reasonable

Handicapped Accessibility

management does not respond to verbal notice of disability issues, unless you get a doctors explanation in writing they don't believe you

Challenging Work

work is challenging because of the overwhelming workload and redundant efforts ... I'm not proud of what I / we do for our clients, I feel that we mislead and outright lie to them to get their money

Inclusive / Diverse

they are diverse regarding people but they don't want to hear any ideas that don't match theirs, jobs are regularly threatened if someone expresses privately ans especially publicly anything that doesn't embrace the company line. Most employees are looking for alternative opportunities, morale is very low

Suggestions for improvement

  • listen to your employees, they're on the front line and deal with the day to day business ... you're not always right just because you're the boss

What I like about the company

Staff, other than top executives, in general is friendly and good to work with

What I dislike about the company

there is no flexibility in much of anything, it's their way or the highway, and many of their ideas and concepts are outdated and inefficient
