They make their own rules. They promote who suits them and they collaborate
on who they want to hire and who they want to get rid of. Work is highly micro managed and the job has been dumbed down to almost a data entry job from what it used to be. They will draw a blind eye to whatever is done to employees as long as the work gets done. All that counts is Verizon's bottom line. Don't try to get help from HR either. All kind of faux pas in dealing with people when issues arise. Lots of reprimanding and writing people up if you displease in any way. people left the department
For other jobs and it didn't raise any eyebrows because they don't care about the employees well-
