Although the employees had positive attitudes in general, when it came to work is was a 180. Very little positivity having to do with work. CEO and President are also the "managers".
Support from management
"management" does not like change. It is their way or the highway, even if you have an idea to make things better.
Freedom to work independently
Everything is extremely micromanaged. All the way down to the most simple tasks. Zero breathing room.
They provided minimal training, and expected 100% accuracy, and then get upset when they do not get it.
Overall compensation for your work
They use lower job titles to get away with paying lower wages, even though you are doing tasks higher than your pay-grade.
Office / Work Environment
If the CEO or President are around, everyone is on eggshells.
You can get let go at any moment.
Very fast pace environment in the shipping department.
Suggestions for improvement
- CEO and President need to either step down or have a couple levels of separation from the majority of employees. Quit the micromanaging.
What I like about the company
Co-workers. The duties of the job.
What I dislike about the company
The severe micromanaging. President and CEO. Not enough benefits.
