The Director of Nursing is controlling and micro-manages staff under her. Therefore, staff aren't independently able to do the jobs in which they were hired for. Not much on orienting new staff.
The Administrator at this facility in Soringfield, MO has a tendency to be arrogant and sneaky. Does not allow staff in newly created positions to fulfill their role due to giving incomplete job descriptions. Gives general overview of position in interview but no details.
When employee of newly created position asks for complete job description and instruction this is not provided.
90 day probationary period period is a farce. 39 days were given to master the position for which I was hired, Staffing Nurse Coordinator, and still did not know the entire scope of my position due to the incomplete explanation of, "scheduling of staff (which I mastered), and some role in Medicare (?), and supplies (?)...". The latter two were never explained so therefore never mastered. Fired on day 39??
39 days (in a usual and customary 90 day probationary period) given to master a newly created position in which the job description was ever created!
Prospective employees of Soringfield, Missouri's The Manor at Elfindale beware. Management is NOT what they appear. They are very good at talking out of both sides of their mouth!
