A lot of empty promises were made. They talk a lot of opportunity, but it is only talk.
Support from management
Head of department said: "I don't have time to deal with you". Leadership does not value their employees.
a little like highschool. People going behind each other's backs to upper management. Didn't feel it to be a conductive environment for cohesive teamwork.
Freedom to work independently
The team I was on was very small. Way too much work was expected of each individual.
Very poor communication from management to employees. Focus meetings would be made, then rescheduled, then never followed up on.
There were no women in my department.
Attitude towards older colleagues
there were many older people within the company, not within my direct department though.
There was no training material or program at all when I started for my department. Most training is setup for sales only.
Overall compensation for your work
salaries are very poor, and raises did not match cost of living. The benefits are ok, not great. My last raise was 1%, could not even see a difference on my checks. Was not a livable wage for a family of 4.
Office / Work Environment
working condition were cramped for my department.
In my honest opinion this company expects you to give up your entire life and focus only on work. I was told that it was a family environment, but family was not allowed at any events we had.
Not sure of this
I was let go with no warning at all. I was never written up over performance, or coached that my performance was lacking in any way. I came in to work and was promptly let go an hour before my shift was up.
The main building is setup with an elevator for easy access.
never saw any major safety issues while on the job.
I was very proud of the work I accomplished. I feel though I was the only one who thought so.
Inclusive / Diverse
All the ideas I had were almost immediately shot down. If the idea did not come from one or two individuals I feel it was not taken into account.
Suggestions for improvement
- Upper management need to care about the quality of their employees lives outside of work. A fair / livable wage should be offered with incintives.
What I like about the company
Some of the company events were pretty fun.
What I dislike about the company
Employees are not a top priority, empty promises are made, lack of training outside of sales, very poor wage for amount and quality of work produced.
