Company was very fair and tried to work with everyone on schedules and different runs.
Support from management
Leadership was friendly and easy to talk to, and they would try to make schedules that worked for everyone.
Depending on the team you were sent out with they could be great, friendly, and easygoing, and others were a bit rude and refused to share the workload.
Freedom to work independently
For the most part, everything was fairly distributed, and all work stations would have rotations.
Leadership always kept us updated on monthly sales and price changes.
Office / Work Environment
We were always provided with an abundance of product and supplies. We were not allowed to run the van in the parking lot, even if it was below 0 and couldn't set up clinic in the stores.
This is mainly working on the weekends and you can pick up shifts during the week. The hours could be a bit long, but not all were bad. Some of the runs would be out of state and you would leave Friday and get home Sunday.
They provide a lot of training in animal care and proper veterinary clinic procedures. I also started training in phlebotomy with them.
Suggestions for improvement
- Making more distribution centers so you didn't have to drive 4 hours away for clinics.
What I like about the company
I've always wanted to work in this field and they offered a lot of training and experience with different veterinarians.
What I dislike about the company
I quickly got over working every weekend and having to go on long and overnight clinics. Some of the veterinarians were rude.
