Company Culture

in this company you are occasionally thanked for your contribution but is is few and far between, individuals in this company walk around on egg shells most of the time as they are constantly scared of being released from employment

Support from management

regarding office personnel there is no clear guidance and no chain of command to resolve any issues

Teamwork

in most cases employees do try to work together as a team

Freedom to work independently

jobs/responsibilities are changed with no input from the individual and although that is the right of management the changes are not always thought thru and only make for less productive work flow

Internal Communication

communication is truly lacking at this facility

Gender Equality

I wouldn't say that women were at a disadvantage but I would state that the practioners are held in high regard however the office staff is not

Attitude towards older colleagues

I was a long time employee now over 50 and let go without providing any reason what so ever. I can not honestly say whether my age or tenure played in part in that decision. I was however told I had done nothing wrong and was provided a severance package

Career Development

I asked at the time I was hired and was told there was a chance for advancement - I continually expressed my desire to do so. There was never a chance for advancement for me as I held the same position for the entire time. Some others in the entry level positions do have a chance for advancement however everyone I know hired at a higher level never had the opportunity to advance

Overall compensation for your work

Employees are paid on time - however the company never has employee reviews or any raises unless an employee ask for it - there is nothing in place for cost of living increases or performance increases. The only real benefits are insurance and PTO

Office / Work Environment

for the most part working conditions are fine with up-to-date electronics and office supplies

Work-Life Balance

this company is very fair when dealing with family matters and vacation

Company Image

The company appears to be well thought of in the community and medical field, most employees do not feel that the company takes care of them and they are the ones who work hard to provide the image to the public

Job Security

due to my release and to other who were also released with out warning or reason no one there feels they have job security

Handicapped Accessibility

as a medical facility this office is accessible for the disabled

Workplace Safety

this is a safe environment to work in

Challenging Work

I personally felt a sense of accomplishment when completing tasks or projects

Suggestions for improvement

  • remember that your employees are what make your company and treat them with the respect they deserve - employees will work twice as hard if they feel appreciated and acknowledged

What I like about the company

for the most part I was left alone to do my work and was not micromanaged

What I dislike about the company

no job security, the fact that reviews are not in place and raises are only obtained after waiting sufficient time to request one - no real opportunities for advancement
