- No suggestions. I loved my job here.
What I like about the company
I started working at VNA of Florida in 2007 as a Sales Rep and worked my way up the ladder to SVP over Sales and Ops for Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus Counties. This was a challenging career that allowed me to have enormous professional and personal growth. The people I worked with in my own local branches, as well as in the Home office in Stuart, FL, were some of the best people I have ever met.
VNA's leadership has always had a clear vision on what kind of company they want to be and are focused on doing what's right for the patients and their employees as well. Since they are a smaller company than the national HHC agencies, the company has a more flat organizational structure allowing for more fluidity in decision making and getting the job done.
I worked full time, attended and completed grad school, had a child while employed at VNA. The company allowed me a nice work / life balance most of the time.
It's a great place to work! I only left because I moved out of state.
What I dislike about the company
I haven't worked there since March of 2014, so it may not be relevant anymore but the recruiting process and onboarding process took what I feel was too long at times.
