I would not work there if you doubled my pay, it is not worth the stress!

What I like

The best thing about working there was I got to help the under served when it comes to medical care. This is my second bad experience with Community Health and I will not be going back. I love my current job, it is like night and day

What I dislike

The CEO behaves very unprofessionally, they need to get someone in there who is not there for their ego or to be in control. The mid management are basically puppets. They don't allow the medical assistants to sit, which I think is ridiculous considering how hard they have to work. The head of HR threatened me in my exit interview and she needs to be replaced. Honestly, I don't think it will ever change.

Suggestions for improvement

I would hire more medical assistants so that the providers can be better supported. The CEO and the head of HR both need to be replaced. There is not accountability there. The board needs to investigate. Some of the managers are doing things that are illegal when it comes to insurance.

Company Culture

This is one of the worst companies that I have ever worked for. Most employees feel like the clinic is looking for them to do something wrong. I would not wish this place on my enemies.

Company Image

Not at all, I would discourage others from applying there.

Work-Life Balance

Sadly when I worked there, I only worked there to live.

Career Development

.Unless you are one of the favorites, you can just forget it.

Handicapped Accessibility

They did not want to accomodate me when I was injured. Another employee was out for several surgeries, she was eventually replaced.

Overall compensation for your work

The pay at poverty level.

Inclusive / Diverse

I hate to sound racist, but they basically only hire Spanish speaking employees. While I am not a native speaker I am able to speak some Spanish. They were determined to get rid of me because I was not a native speaker.

Environmental Friendliness

The only thing that they did was recycle cans/plastics in the lunchrooms.

Teamwork

Not at all, they favor people so I always felt like I was being watched.

Attitude towards older colleagues

I am over that age and I was treated terribly. I hurt my knee and the asst mgr was very unsympathetic to my modifications. They tried to let me go because of them.

Support from management

She turned against me and other employees. They lie about your performance. Thank God I found a way better position.

Office / Work Environment

Half the time the A/C did not work for weeks at a time. It got so bad that we would see cockroaches on the walls.

Challenging Work

The job was challenging in the sense that there was so much to do. Since I have so much experience in my position, it was fairly easy. I always want to learn new things but was not one of the "favorites", so they would give them to younger, more inexperienced employees.

Job Security

I was let go regarding something that I did not do. They also threatened my unemployment if I did anything.

Internal Communication

The only time they really communicate with you is if you do something wrong.

Freedom to work independently

They micromanage everything

Workplace Safety

Gender Equality

Terrible communication. Managers don’t treat employees well.
