Corporate culture is divisive, short-sighted and counter-productive to local team efforts. Key team members who have been with Vitas for 20 years + lament the negative changes ever since company was taken over by Roto Rooter's parent company. Compassion, commitment to quality care and excellent customer service has been drastically compromised.
Support from Management
First line of support is good, but beyond regional management leadership is inexperienced, unrealistic in expectations and fails to adequately support local efforts. Local management is as supportive as they can, but higher level management is out of touch and are quick to throw marketing reps under the bus.
