Support from management
this varies from dept to dept. For my dept, there isn't any support or you feel as though you can't go to your supervisor for help. When you do need help with other coworkers, etc there are repercussions with the coworker you have issues with and nothing seems to be done about it. You do create a hostile work environment even if you're not the antagonist.
Team work lacks depending on who you are.
There is a hold on hiring for the office positions, not for clinicians. And as a result, the office support is lacking and suffering.
This depends on if you're a clinician or a clerical person. Clerical people work long hours and sometimes they will not pay you for the long hours you put in.
Where I work is in a bad neighborhood and they have a gate during the day time to discourage people from parking in our lot, but in the night time it's open. There are no cameras in the parking lot, and I have gotten broken into before, along with other coworkers. I don't like the location where we work. I know that there are clinicians that have to go to some bad neighborhoods because they need to provide care for people in those areas. I feel bad for them.
For my position, I am bored, there is no challenge and it's a dead end position. Most positions in the office are dead end positions.
