Great, until sold by the board and merged with their rival
In its prime, the company was home as well as work, in a good way. The CEO had the right feelers out there to guide the social avenues correctly.
Support from management
In general, management was proactive and long viewed in approach. Some departments, not so much.
Freedom to work independently
Not a negative, just not generally part of the culture. More team focused.
Management was the only real route for progression.
None now. The company has merged with rival after rival, and is a ghost of its former self.
Suggestions for improvement
- You erred terribly in putting Cision on top, and refused to listen when we said so. Build better, not expediently.
What I like about the company
In its heyday, it was inspiring. Very community focused, family friendly.
What I dislike about the company
With all the mergers, its soul is gone, replaced with other corporate visions every six to twelve months.
