The employees do not get the credit that is deserved.
Support from management
The employees are in their own clicks. No teamwork
Freedom to work independently
The workload is not fairly distributed. No teamwork amongst teachers.
The teachers are always the last to know about certain situations.
There is no equality in a whole room full of women.
Attitude towards older colleagues
The attitude towards other workers does go unnoticed and many of the senior workers take their seniority to their heads.
There is some career development that is offered to "select employees."
Overall compensation for your work
There is no compensation or benefits because of the excuse of the budgeting within the church.
Office / Work Environment
The working conditions are bearable but could need some improvement.
Many of the employees are unaware of many of the situations that do arise.
The work life balance is acceptible in some respects.
The church has a poor image due to the fact of parents taking children out which hurts the center.
There are riskf of positions being eliminated to good upstanding teachers who have basically been doing their jobs.
There are accessibility tools for disabled employees; however, according to the maintenance people within the center, the elevator is offlimits to the employees and is only available to the church members.
The center does comply with Stars and State to some respect for the safety of the children.
The work is challenging when one of the employees is doing a majority of the work required.
Inclusive / Diverse
The company does not promote any form of diversity. The employees do not have a freedom of choice.
Suggestions for improvement
- More comraderie and a pay raise which will probably not take place.
What I like about the company
It is steady employment and the children brighten my day.
What I dislike about the company
The negative innuendo within the company. It is suppose to be a church.
