As with any company it depends on the department. Some are regarded highly, and others not.
Suggestions for improvement
- Make clear paths for promotion in all departments. Recognize hard working staff with competitive salaries. Initiate 360 reviews so everyone has a chance to provide feedback, both good and challenging.
What I like about the company
This institution has some of the best and brightest minds setting up for a great learning experience if you're motivated to seek it out.
What I dislike about the company
Promotions are earned based on merit & experience. Shouldn't be making employees interview for them and then be on probation again. As well, there is no room for growth and very little in the way of training and career development. Senior leadership tends to over communicate without any real value-add. And most of the recognition is for faculty when the staff also work very hard.
