Company Culture

Does not accepts asians people. Only Mexicans and Causasians hires the seniorities not in 20 years old or older.

Did not care about my frustrations and concerns about this company nutrition services.

No teamwork that I experienced was necessary to begin with.

Yes because based on hire the seniority not hired the 20 years old or older considered the facts of seniors does feels smart about food safety and responsibile enough to know what the senior are doing.

  • No bullying, be kind, respectful, being heard and understanding the frustration of every employee in nutrition services.

What I like about the company

getting paid on the 15th then getting actually paid at the end of month.

What I dislike about the company

More bullying, not being heard and understanding, dealing with passive aggressive people every day is tiring, felt disrespected as a woman working at nutrition services even there is all these women are stuck up and concieted.

Company Culture

Employee's are not regarded as important. The company really does nothing to encourage people to advance in the company. In fact on most postings the person is chosen from outside the agency.

Support from management

They take input to make it appear you are involved but they do not change their position regardless of your input or information.

Teamwork

When we are allowed to speak to each other we can do great things but management does not encourage interaction.

Freedom to work independently

Work load is even within a team. We are separated into teams based on the time of function we have. Depending on the team you are on and whether your supervisor fights for you, your team could be assigned work that belongs to the other team.

Internal Communication

Communication is lacking. Management seems to be working on it.

Yes and no. They do hire all but it depends on your supervisor when their are issues if you are treated equally. Males seem to get more breaks than women.

Most new hires are younger. Older employees do not seem to be as appreciated as they should be.

Career Development

The employee can advance but it falls on the employee to seek the development. Management has told employees they will allow them to interview for certain positions in the future if they take on special tasks but do not follow through when the positions come open.

Overall compensation for your work

Salary is paid on time but we do not always receive cost of living increases. We are not paid that well for the amount of work we do.

Office / Work Environment

We are not given the best keyboards and the computers are not the best. The new ones are nice but when you get one plan on having it until it crashes.

The rules change all the time depending on when you are hired and who your manager is.

Rarely do employees speak fondly of the company. Our company does not have a good image among its employees unless you are management. They also are not not positive about the company.

The jobs are fairly stable but they are stressful and work load is high.

Our offices are handicap accessible.

As far as I know it complies with OSHA. We receive some safety training.

I am proud of my work and it benefits the clients.

Inclusive / Diverse

No management rules. Employees are asked for our opinion but the route management is leaning toward always prevails.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Improve communication between management and employees. Not all employees leave because they are disgruntled. They leave because they are frustrated that their voices are not being heard.
