Support from management
Leadership is truely only interested in number and that you're making yours. They will give you great support in this area in order to achieve bonus for that quarter. Consistently hit your numbers in sales and they will help you achieve your career goals.
If you aeent driven and hate sales, this is not the job for you.
Suggestions for improvement
- Bs more realistic in setting sales expectations and pay more attention to how your people are making their numbers. The over all opinion of Wells Fargo from those who are your customers and especially those who are not is that you age generally hates, looked upon as a necessary evil. This is unfortunate, but an opinion that is not inknown to you. Why not operate in a way that serves your custers as least half as well as you treat your stockholders.
What I like about the company
For those who want to enter the Banking Industry you won't find better traing anywhere. Wells invests a lot of time and money into each employee they hire. 6 weeks of training at one of there facilities is the norm. There is no other I
Banking institution that can offer you better.
What I dislike about the company
When I was employed by WF the daily sales goal were high and I was working at a very slow branch, competing against 2 other bankers. This fostered an unhealthy practice amoung some of the Bankers where they resorted to dishonest practices in order to stay at the top of their game. If goal expectations are high and you still try to to work with honesty and integrity, your likely to not consistently achieve the expectation and will be written up. Management is only too willing to look the other way at such practices as long as they are not made aware of the details.
