They move people up from with in. Open door hr dept.
Support from management
I was lucky to have both great supervisor and manager. You could tell which departments did not. A lot of turn over.
Always a few people who don't want to work but for the most part good team spirit.
Freedom to work independently
The more experienced and reliable you were the more flexible they became.
They have regular meetings some mandatory some not. But I didn't always feel that I was getting the whole truth, just what they wanted us to know.
Great classes available to improve your skills. Can be applied to work or some even outside of work or for future jobs.
Office / Work Environment
Kitchen a little small for number of employees. Sickness spread fast....just close proximity and openness of desks.
Trying to go paperless for two years. Still hadn't when I left.
3weeks PTO to start. Which is great. Flex time was available when I was there.
My job was very repetitive. They broke down administrative tasks between teams...so you didn't get to follow the file from start yo finish.
Suggestions for improvement
- Semmed that some teams pitted against each other instead of working together. Keep trying to get team mingling initiatives.
