Suggestions for improvement
- They should review their sick leave allowances. They should look at ways to recognize employees who have been there for milestone years. There is no incentive to stay and nothing to look forward to. It does not have to be anything monumental. Again, maybe an extra day or two of vacation would be nice. A once a year recognition lunch where the person may receive a certificate or award would be appreciated too.
What I like about the company
It offers competitive wages for those with experience.
What I dislike about the company
The company needs better communication and a better leave policy for sick leave. Most people come to work sick (infecting others) because they do not have enough sick leave. Also, there are no incentives for employees who work there longer than ten years. We have several people who have been there over 20 years and the most they may get is a mention in a company newsletter. An extra day or two of vacation every five years beyond the ten years, would be appreciated.
