The Principles of Progress are always the number one priority and employees are often recognized when following and excelling at those principles.
Support from management
Leadership is good and always willing to invest time in "teachable moments".
Team work is not perfect but constantly striving to do better.
Great communication through a series of programs depending on the need.
Office / Work Environment
Newly remodelled building, great place to be.
The owners are very involved with the improvement of the city and local economy.
Never had an issue with available time. Sometimes deadlines are tight, but in the case of an emergency with family Willborn has always let you handle your family first.
Constantly being faced with new challenges from growing into new and larger levels of work.
Inclusive / Diverse
Not all ideas are utilized but there is an explanation as to why the idea should go into a different direction. Ideas and suggestions are encouraged.
Suggestions for improvement
- Continue to encourage employees of their importance as individuals within the organization and continue to give the ability and tools to employees to grow and improve themselves which in turn will grow and improve Willborn.
What I like about the company
The ability to express ideas and have them often considered and sometime used. Working in a friendly atmosphere that welcomes the occasional break from tedious work to express a joke or share in a off topic issue. Having people to work with that truly feel like you could count on in multiple situations.
What I dislike about the company
Sometimes in an attempt to improve upon a method or increase the accuracy of a process it actually creates more complications and also increases the time needed for certain tasks and processes. The thought is done with the best intentions but sometimes more consideration in exploring all the factors should be given before implementing.
