Top-down, it is what it is.
Management views support staff like cattle; they can always get more.
Overall compensation for your work
Low pay and getting lower.
Sort of okay..... They have some respect for what they do, but appear still relatively little known outside of the Pacific NW.
For support staff? Not really much at all. See above comment regarding working conditions.
Suggestions for improvement
- Treat support staff as important to overall firm success, not like strangers/"permatemps" who can be replaced at will.
What I like about the company
There was always plenty of work to be done.
What I dislike about the company
Partners/Board? Without your support staff, you do not have a functioning firm. Stop trying to claim all profits for yourselves, and pay support staff a living wage.
