I saw the manager doing a lot "reporting" to the boss. I don't think there is a lot of trust. and the midlevel was really good.
Support from management
Doc is a great teacher, but pretty much is his way or the highway.
typical backstabbing of the employee vs providers
Freedom to work independently
the doc has control of all.
was not part of meetings
Attitude towards older colleagues
everyone seemed happy most of the time.
Overall compensation for your work
do not have any idea
Office / Work Environment
lots of technology, doc is tech guy. all of this was up to date.
Idk about vacations, etc. But was told the doc doesn't take vacations but rarely. He was always there before me and would hear that he worked into the night a lot. Seemed to care about emp. kids. Mgr was always working long hours too.
I don't think any different from any other place I have ever been, positives and negatives.
Never heard anything negative
Completely from what I experienced.
They do a lot there, procedures, minor surgeries in the office. learned a lot!!
Inclusive / Diverse
From what I saw, which wasn't a lot, the doc and the mgr listened to others opinions but their own were the ones that really counted.
Suggestions for improvement
- None, office has been there for a long time and the patients love them.
What I like about the company
Very smart and talented medical staff. Very good teachers. Seemed to care about people that work for them.
What I dislike about the company
I am not interested in working like some of them do, I am married and want kids and want to do other things than work. No benefits offered there when I was there. Had talks about private practice structure vs company/hospital owned facilities.
The following benefits were offered to me
- CompanyWillis Gaffney MD
- Are you a Current or Former Employee?Internship in 2013
- DepartmentHigher-level services in healthcare and nursing
