Support from management
Leadership was so-so. Only looked out for themselves.
If you weren't administrations rising star, you're lucky they would remember your name or acknowledge your presence. The treatment of the tenured teachers who were closer to retirement was appalling. More respect was given to a first year teacher who was lucky that they were smart enough to figure out how to get into the building, let alone be responsible for a group of children.
Focus on development was sub-par. If they thought their development days were helpful in the slightest-they were not. Majority of the time the development days were wasted time that the faculty could have been doing something more productive, like sleeping.
