Suggestions for improvement
- Common sense would be a big help, and stop functioning like our current Government administration! Listen to the employees at the bottom caring all the weight!
What I like about the company
I get a paycheck and that's about it.
What I dislike about the company
They keep taking away from their employees. When I started here 12yrs ago we received a $1000 Christmas bonus, stock options incentive, 10 days sick time, and the employees cared about what they were responsible for. Over the years they dropped Christmas bonus, sick days got cut to 7, they stopped the retirement plans and went to a 401k which over time have cut the matched payout amount & frequency of matched payouts down to once a year and no longer give cash value but company stock instead which is the same thing Enron did years ago, Medical benefits has become a joke as for next year the company has went with the lowest form of medical benefits offered to its employees which will cost on average 4-6 times to the employee as the year before ($10k before 80/20% coverage) and they do things like this in a sneaky way hoping you will not notice which has made corporate loose its credibility and trust worthiness to its employees, the company's policies has force all operations to nearly halt and made its employees feel like nothing they can do to fix anything which has created an environment that employees only focus on their small job portion and don't care about any other part if its not in there job description they don't care which I hate having to conform this way as it is against my work ethic but what do you do when everything you try to do to make things more efficient or save cost only gets blocked or shot down or the silent affect? Windstream is hugely inefficient & ineffective but blow smoke and corporate tries to put all these venues to be heard but nothing ever becomes of it and feed back doesn't exist.
