Company culture

complacency demonstrated by people with 10+ years in the company

Suggestions for improvement

  • They need to seek out and reform or replace leaders who are: unethical, over political, complaisant, pretentious, and don't care about their direct and indirect reports' well being.

What I like about the company

The flexibility to work from home

What I dislike about the company

Leadership inconsistency, unethical behavior, others telling you that you are "a rising star" and "a class act" and others demoralizing you in every chance, making you feel like if you make any mistake they "will bite you".

Suggestions for improvement

  • They know what they need to do. They choose to ignore joining the rest of us in the current century.

What I like about the company

Some of the people I worked with.

What I dislike about the company

Stuck in the dark ages as far as technology, system integration, closed minded, lack communication at all levels, very political, leaders miss the mark when promoting high performers, executive branch is blindsided, leaders cover-up mistakes, no accountability. Severely inflexible with employees, ignore or find ways around ADA and other employment regulations. HR is 100% manager-centric and will lie to employees and pretend they care even if the employees report inappropriate or illegal managerial behavior. HR will do nothing to help employees. The past three years they have created a hostile work environment and taken actions to fire, eliminate, or make it extremely difficult for employees over age 50 (even if the employee had a history of being one of the highest performers). Not the place for anyone with any form of disability (physical or mental). Not the place for anyone 50 and over. Not the place for anyone who is seeking work schedule flexibility (hours, location, telecommuting, etc.). Their recruiters say they promote all of these good things, but the managers are not at all aligned. There is no official managerial training (on laws, processes, or relationship building).
