What I dislike about the company
Stuck in the dark ages as far as technology, system integration, closed minded, lack communication at all levels, very political, leaders miss the mark when promoting high performers, executive branch is blindsided, leaders cover-up mistakes, no accountability. Severely inflexible with employees, ignore or find ways around ADA and other employment regulations. HR is 100% manager-centric and will lie to employees and pretend they care even if the employees report inappropriate or illegal managerial behavior. HR will do nothing to help employees. The past three years they have created a hostile work environment and taken actions to fire, eliminate, or make it extremely difficult for employees over age 50 (even if the employee had a history of being one of the highest performers). Not the place for anyone with any form of disability (physical or mental). Not the place for anyone 50 and over. Not the place for anyone who is seeking work schedule flexibility (hours, location, telecommuting, etc.). Their recruiters say they promote all of these good things, but the managers are not at all aligned. There is no official managerial training (on laws, processes, or relationship building).
