A remarkable group of intelligent people from all over the world. Everyone is willing to help, assist, train, and pass along experience.
Support from management
The leadership support does exist, however each person is encouraged to step up and take ownership of responsibilities. Communicate specific pros and cons and the added value of projects and you will solidify the support needed.
Each person is an important part of the big picture. Color, race, background is irrelevant (except for the background check before hiring of course). If you focus on work and seek to understand others, then a true satisfaction will be present always.
Attitude towards older colleagues
This company endures on the experience of older colleagues. It is a great working atmosphere when the old and young alike share a common goal, with safety always on the mind.
A great place for younger people to start and climb, but they need to be very hungry for success to climb up the ladder. Talent is needed and very much thankful at current levels which is why some people might find a perfect home with their current position. When a person wants to expand their horizons, then you have thousands of people world wide to bounce your questions off and to make connections. If you like to travel, then let management know. This will help with continued employment even during the slow times.
Overall compensation for your work
Depending on the position, salary is very reasonable. Negotiations are always on the table and asking for a pay raise is encouraged. Health benefits are available with many great options. Vacation time and sick time is accrued. Family emergencies offer you many options.
Office / Work Environment
Safety is at the top of the list when it comes to employees' wellness.
Everyone is very supportive and family oriented. Hard work is encouraged and vacations are welcomed. Varied working hours and will have the flexibility for earlier or later hours. Earn your stripes first before exercising any flexibility. After you prove yourself, you soon become your own boss.
Employees are loyal and hard working. Completed projects boast their own reward and accomplishments. Employee recognition is plentiful.
Being in the energy field, job security is usually as good as the energy resources. The brilliant people understand that to remain gainfully employed, the you must travel to where the jobs are. Which means, if a project is booming in another country, then it is adventitious to go and exposes you to many more opportunities.
Disabled employees and guests will find it very easy to move about. Additionally, everybody there is helpful. In emergency situations, there are assigned employees to help carry disabled people down the stairs if elevators are out of commission.

Suggestions for improvement
- Management can become a little more active in communicating more frequently and with status updates. Moral can become low when the state of current or future work is in limbo or undergoing negotiations.
What I like about the company
The emphasis is about quality of work. The brain power working in conjunction for any project is masterful and gives the feeling that everyone is on the same page. People with special skills are sought out to assist others and employee recognition is never in short supply.
What I dislike about the company
Because of catering to the energy needs, projects are dependent upon the natural resources and price of some commodities. This is out of control of the company, but unfortunately can lead to layoffs, but with an open door policy to rehire the same people as soon as possible for other projects.
