Very "good 'ol boys club". Good luck, ladies.
Support from management
Not great. Was told I could come to management with ANY issue. But when the time came, they left me hanging.
Fellow team members were rude and unwilling to train/help. No one had your back.
Freedom to work independently
Meh... kinda. If left to fend for yourself is your thing. Micro-managing in some ways; completely unsupportive in other ways.
Was left in the dark on many occasions...
Nope. Definitely treated differently due to my sex...
Attitude towards older colleagues
Nope - kept asking to be trained on additional tasks, but kept getting told "not yet". Was SO eager to learn - but was denied the training.
Overall compensation for your work
Underpaid for the stress level.
Office / Work Environment
Overall, not bad. Great when it came to food days and such. But overall, there was always "something" I did "wrong" (I wasn't a part of the "club" apparently).
No real impact on this subject.
Not bad - got to leave work at work, which was nice.
Great on the outside.... not so much on the inside.
Always on egg shells with management!
They should train employees ahead of time of the necessary procedures when work-place accidents occur. Was chastised for not knowing such procedures when I was still new.
Inclusive / Diverse
It's a men's world....
Suggestions for improvement
- Don't be so judgemental. Treat ALL employees equally. Lose the "clicks". Also, allow employees the option to work remotely PLEASE! Also - better 401k options and matching.
What I like about the company
Great products, great data speeds, good services overall.
What I dislike about the company
Too many clicks among employees. If you're not in the "in-crowd", you could lose your job. Management is too judgemental. Need more challenges, and DEFINITELY better training procedures. No options to work remotely, unlike other similar companies.
Also - 401k matching is a joke.
