Cancerous. Outside of the cronies at the top, all that remains are over-employed lifers who think they are next to be laid off.
Support from management
Redefines cronyism. Despite three layoffs and loss of 85% of company value there have been no executive pay or staff cuts
Every division seems to be "in business" for themselves.
Insults and disdain are communicated well.
As stated earlier, mostly white male.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Most of the company is over the age of 45.
The length of time people hold positions is indicative of the lack of advancement.
Overall compensation for your work
No bonuses or raises in two years. Now, no 401K match.
Office / Work Environment
People put signs on their doors when they take vacation lest the hall monitors assume they are stealing time away from the company.
Half day on Friday for employees.
Being good at your job keeps you safe.
"Status quo" is innovation.
Inclusive / Diverse
Absurdly dominated by white males.
Suggestions for improvement
- People and employees are catching onto the lack of accountability at the top. Blaming commodity prices only would suggest that executives are expendable. If the execs are performing to lofty salaries (even with a depressed market cap) then stop blaming commodity prices. You can't have it both ways.
What I like about the company
Repetitive work and lack of innovation are mentally easy.
What I dislike about the company
Too much to list.
