The company culture is very elitist. You are almost expected to give homage to the Director status people and definitely the RSVP and above types.
Support from Management
My DSM is in my corner but those above him need to be given their elitist pat on the back before they will acknowledge you.
You always have your own team and other team members to fall back on.
Level of Autonomy
A lot of freedom to work independently and get the job done.
