Suggestions for improvement
- When forced to let a (dedicated, top performing) employee go after 29 years of service, recommend not forcing them to drive 2 hours (each way) through the worst snowstorm of 2012 to inform of the lay-off. Also recommend thanking the employee for years of service if applicable, rather than stating that the lay-off is an opportunity.
