I worked with an amazing group of medical professionals that were supportive and encouraging.
What I like
I was supported to return to school to further my education. My coworkers helped me learn and prepare and without them I don't think I would be as successful as I am today. I received fantastic feedback as I was working and felt that I was constantly being challenged and learning new things. I would recommended Yale to any medical professional looking to widen their horizons with education and learning opportunities.
What I dislike
Due to being such a well known entity their compensation is lower than some of the other hospitals. However they make up for this with opportunities for growth and professional development.
Suggestions for improvement
The parking situation is challenging and it would be exciting to see it improved. Also, a streamlining of all the hospitals within the system would help with medical professionals who work at multiple hospitals in the system specifically when ordering lab work.
