I like about the employer
You were given free membership to their facilities while you were
employed by them.
I dislike about the employer
Leadership never follows through on their plans. I worked in the after-school program. We were expected to pick up many items at the YMCA to take to our various school sites. We were never paid for this time. We were expected to follow a very strict lesson plan yet when we asked for supplies to follow
the plan- we were told to improvise- or we were expected to provide the
supplies out of our own pockets. Many of the situations the employees are exposed are very dangerous-but the organization does not have a positive
or safe work environment at all. Everyone is expected to contribute out
of their pay to a YMCA scholarship fund. If you do not-you are called out
in front of the entire staff.
