Being a tiny company, there is no real culture.
Support from management
The interview went well and the CEO and VP were very social. Once there it was a nightmare and I could then see why there were so many who had been in the position before me.
CEO and VP had been working together for over 20 years. They need to learn about teamwork.
I was insulted and scolded when I tried to take notes.
Training was "click here, click there, NO you don't need to take notes, just click here.
You are expected to work and work hard....which I can do but they don't care about your family at all.
Only the CEO and VP compliment each other. I went to an event and was looked up and down, smirked at and was passed by.
It's a stable because it has a good reputation.
I can't say.
I can't say.
When I FINALLY was assisted by the Ex. Assistant, I felt a sense of accomplishment.
Suggestions for improvement
- Make Marie the computer instructor. It's a great job and I loved it but you were not allowed to expand in any way shape or form.
What I like about the company
I loved my job but I had did not enjoy the CEO / VP at all. BTW...I'm using VP loosely since she is the only other senior person there.
What I dislike about the company
The VP teaching was not a suitable teacher and could not understand why people needed to take notes. CEO was an extreme A personality and OCD. The VP made errors and never took responsibility for them.
