Suggestions for improvement
- Set your staff up for success, not failure. Defiantly needs to be open communication between both FOH & BOH. Control your staff and set equal expectations for everyone and consequences to poor choices made. The Sushi chefs work for you, you don't work for them. Set standards and refuse to lower them. Consistency is a huge priority with the food being made. Defiantly utalize the the wait times the ensure guest expectations are being met and exceeded! Ensure that there is a fully stocked and maintained constant supply of inventory; no guest wants to hear a sushi restaurant is out of wasabi and ginger! unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment! Open communication is key! Set your staff up for success and be there when they need backup; aka actually "manage" your staff.
I like about the employer
I had the opportunity to implement different ideas and methods to making the restaurant run smoothly/successfully on a daily basis. Teamwork with my work crew was always on point, but defiantly lacked when communicating with BOH.
