Once very good & positive, but with growth, the once strong tightly knit family atmosphere is waning. Company is now rife with favoritism.
Support from management
The once great level of support has significantly dropped.
Would not exist were it not for a few key people.
Freedom to work independently
Autonomy is now one of the most positive aspects.
Company internal communication is sometimes different from what management says.
Minimal women hired, other than office personnel.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Neither really good or bad. Zee promotes mentoring from seasoned reps. That sometimes results in helping the one takes your place.
Younger folks mentored by older reps
Overall compensation for your work
Ok, but with growth, performance bar has been raised. Results in you training the one who takes your place.
Office / Work Environment
Can’t really comment on, as reps work from home offices or hotels.
Simply no balance. Initially told that family is most important, yet time away from home prohibits this. Family time is relegated to weekends and even that is sometimes compromised.
No longer pleasing place to work, so attitudes and performance levels drop leading to replacement.
No comment on
Most reps hired are seasoned & already experienced with EH&S concerns.
Recognition of the work challenges non existent, unless you are top producer
Inclusive / Diverse
At meetings, seems like Zee tries to support diversity by hiring all ethnicities.
Suggestions for improvement
- Go back to treating reps as people, rather than numbers.
What I like about the company
Autonomy still ok
What I dislike about the company
Top Executives proclaim the importance of everyone for their own individual contributions, but only the top producers get the recognition; same people become the favorites in upcoming projects; best opportunities get funneled to them
