What I like about the company
Flexible hours and the idea that what I was doing would actually help users find the exact things they search for on Google.
What I dislike about the company
I worked as an Ad Quality Rater for ZeroChaos supporting both English and Brazilian Portuguese tasks. My experience with the company was not satisfying. After my initial orientation session there was absolutely no supervision and absolutely no feedback regarding my performance. When I sent emails to try to figure out simple things like, “am I officially an employee and not a trainee” or “how are you evaluating my performance so I can improve”, I never received a single reply. I did receive warnings not to exceed 30 hours per week on my time sheet, but for several weeks, I received less than 3 hours of work for the entire week!
I understand using automated systems to help manage teams and reduce costs, but the systems used by ZeroChaos created “MaximumChaos”. Their approach was poorly planned and poorly executed. In my opinion, their model is very amateurish, extremely flawed in several areas, and unprofessional. I’m surprised a Google company would execute so badly. Few things worked well from my perspective as an Ad Quality Rater. My experience with ZeroChaos created Chaos and I would never work for them again! If I had understood this before I started, I would have never pursued the job. It was a waste of my time and energy. Very frustrated and very unhappy with my ZeroChaos experience! Awful company and total thumbs down.
