everybody is completely lost, frustration rising every solitary day in all areas. end users lost every respect and expect nothing anymore of Group IT, ever. Never been so embarassed about where I work

7th Group Head of IT in 7 years, any remarks....? Everybody lost, also all department heads, no guidance, everybody just somehow guessing and surving, total desaster
Interessante Aufgaben
sky's the limit, you can work in every area and do fancy things. but also better prepare to get zero guidance, be mobved around a lot, start frequently from scratch, deliver 6 months and then your project is cancelled a day before go life, or work 10 months but still nothing is ever deliverd to customers, however reports are green and we celebrate non-existing successes. Hurray!

I thought there was no issue there, but then a collague received two sexist comments on her first day. So maybe there is an issue in some areas

new IT Head crazily favours the "young and wild", old colleagues are not fired or silenced, its not that bad - but they slightly move under the radar into the void...

awful. If you tell people you work for Axpo, its not going too well. If you tell recruiters you are in Axpo Group IT, they react really funny, reputation out there seems to be really bad. I am already wondering, if I will get a problem if I want to go to another company, simply because the ydo not want somebody from Axpo IT...?
Karriere/Weiterbildung
You can grow as much as you want, nobody will ever stop you, and you can do whatever you like. Just don't expect to have any sort of development plan or even a conversation about the future. Oh yes, and you could be moved around between departments, projects and companies at free will, or be fired without warning, because that is what management understands as "agile" organization.
