Arbeitsatmosphäre
Good! It's one of the few times in my life when I feel happy to go to work :) In general people are quite easygoing and it's easy to build connections across the different departments. It's a machinery (engineering) company, so things are more informal as they would be in a bank or in a consultancy. The office and the production are located in the same building, so it feels your work has real impact on the actual products and the production organization.
I hear that the moving of the headquarters from Nidau to Biel caused bad mood and hard times, and people are vocal about this. However, having joined the company after this moving, I am not affected by it.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Very good. I only found supportive and respectful colleagues so far. I feel that in my team we can rely on each other. Also, we try to spend some time together after work
Work-Life-Balance
Most of the times the workload is manageable. There are obviously peak times, when it is more challenging to manage everything. However, my manager is very flexible and lets me arrange my schedule in a way that suits period of highs and lows. Also, working from home a few days a week really helps.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
I am very happy with my manager, the communication is direct and I feel we trust each other. I am given responsibility and I know I can get support from her when needed. Frankly, it's one of the best managers I've ever had :)
Interessante Aufgaben
By the nature of my job I get to work on multiple projects with different scopes, stakeholders, and deliverables. I quite like it as the tasks are really diverse and I get to learn a lot and be exposed to a lot of people. The challenge is to manage everything at the same time and build the necessary connections between these different topics.

The products are well known in the industry, however, as an employer, the company is not super famous. Quite a pity, as it is a really nice one to work for
