Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Extremely long processes involving various departments.. The decision-making goes on forever even for the smallest things.
We were supposed to use our own credit cards to book company trips. Employees who didn't have credit cards had to get one.
Although the company is doing well financially, according to the public information, they are constantly laying off people without any good reason. So if you are looking for a secure place, OpenText is definitely not it. For the company you are just another resource.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Think more of people and pay attention to the employee turnover rate. Reduce ridiculously long proccesses and let people do their job.

Kommunikation

You receive a lot of emails from HQ with lots of information. It is very hard to find what is relevant. At some point the company decided to mae changes within the organisation. The employees were shifted to other positions without any explanation. Noone comunicated properly why we are chnaging positions, what our new titels and tasks are. And it went on for several months. In the end they decided to pause the changes and brought everything back. It was a chaos and waste of time.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The colleagues were okay.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The hierarchy inside the organization is unbeliavable. Lots of levels.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Average salary, no bonuses

Image

On the outside the company tries to have a nice image of a great employer, in reality employees do not matter.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

They say you have a potential to grow, in reality no additional courses are offered.
