More connection to employees and their ideas and avoid misreading their resistance to change some strategies, no more „broken agreements“ - staying more aligned with KPIs, strategy and the overall vision

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Sometimes good but most of the times there is an uncomfortable atmosphere in the office or in virtual calls.

Work-Life-Balance

If there is no close deadline the work life balance is alright. If there is a deadline coming up I get the feeling to be working over time „to support the team“. Of course this is part of most workplaces yet I would prefer to be asked directly to work more hours.

For Start-up very good, for Healthcare & IT mediocre

For a digital and young company definitely more could be done and implemented into the corporate vision.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

People do what is asked from them without going beyond that. You are not let down by your colleagues so you can definitely trust in them supporting you. However, the quality of that work is often not up to the standard needed leading to optimizing their work. Most of the colleagues are very motivated and friendly.

Broken agreements: Management promotes the
strategy in words, but undermines it with what they do.

Misreading resistance: Employees are blamed for resisting the change, while in fact something else is going on.

Disconnectedness: This happens because our strategy is purely based on top management's perception of reality.

Micromanagement: An overemphasis on analysis and on planning the strategy rather than on delivering it.

Arbeitsbedingungen

You can choose the hardware you want to work with and order equipment for your home office such as an external display. So for the home office part 5/5 stars.

Sadly, the Office it self is not standing up to these standards. It is an old office lacking enough space for everyone to be able to work in quiet. There are only two big rooms being used for meetings, calls, feedback meetings etc. There are many times when you can’t find a quiet spot to work. If you want to come to the office to chat with colleagues it works out great.

Kommunikation

We communicate a lot yet hardly leading to any new ideas or strategies. New strategies often are not explained - neither the thought behind them or how they will be included in operational business.

Gleichberechtigung

More men in leadership positions but it feels as if these decisions are based on talent and not of „filling a gender gap“

Interessante Aufgaben

Comes and goes from time to time - I have had worse jobs but also better ones.
