Albeit having issues in the past to connect individuals on both a personal and professional level, the recent influx of fresh faces has deeply impacted the overall work culture and atmosphere for the better. I'm proud to be a member of a positive, social, and forward-thinking team that really enjoys coming to the office.

Albeit having significantly improved over the last year, we are still working towards expanding our global presence and truly establishing ourselves as a force in the consulting world. I feel that recent developments within the company are some of the building blocks to realizing our long-term goals.

Work is certainly a priority in my life, but my private life and freedoms are a great deal more critical. I rely on flexibility to be able to accomplish my goals, and Arcondis allows me to have that. I'm not forced to bypass private appointments on account of my work schedule; something I consider to be an invaluable component of my position.

As noted earlier in this review, my role is somehow "ceiling-less". I feel the aforementioned developments within the company will benefit my future very positively and I'm excited by the idea of being influential in upcoming changes. On the whole, I feel Arcondis offers its employees endless opportunities to grow, mentor, learn, and/or teach. There is always room to improve, and I feel Arcondis sees that.

I feel that I am properly compensated for my contribution and value our quarterly incentives model, which rewards employees for their contributions throughout the year.

Like any company in transition (especially one that spans borders), cohesion can be something of a challenge. That said, I have witnessed a great deal more effort to treat Arcondis as one united entity, as opposed to "us vs. them". Speaking solely from my own perspective, I understand my role to be a part of a bigger picture; one that relies on collaboration and teamwork to bring ideas to life. I need my coworkers just as much as they need me, and I have found a great deal of success on account of my capacity to rely on others.

Arcondis operates on the basis of positive contribution. Everyone is given the opportunity to succeed and bring value, regardless of age.
Leadership behavior
I might be a "little fish" in the grander scheme of things, but I can't tell you how many times my superiors have ensured that I am aware that their jobs wouldn't be possible without my contribution. It's very much appreciated.
Working conditions
I am provided with all of the materials I require to complete my job effectively. Our actual infrastructure is currently a bit lackluster, but this issue is currently under review.
Communication
To parrot my previous statement, communication was something of an issue in the past and for some, continues to be something of a sore spot. However, new management has widely acknowledged this issue as an area that requires improvement and is actively working towards a future that prioritizes transparency. Speaking solely from my personal experiences, I have always been communicated with re: areas of concern, etc in a professional and constructive manner that allows me to learn and grow.
Equality
We're getting there...leadership is certainly aware of the ratio to men and women on the team, but it's a work in progress. I trust that this issue will continue to improve with time.
Interesting tasks
A big part of my job to dream up ideas to bring happiness to our team. For this reason, my job is a bit "ceiling-less"; there is no limit to the many fun things that have been (or may/will be) assigned to me :)

Toxicity and negativity. Measures and decisions that negatively impact employees are not communicated openly.
Suggestions for improvement
Throw out bad apples. Start listening to feedback instead of sugarcoating / holding back information.
Working atmosphere
Negative. Lots of mistrust and fear going around. People that adhere to and promote the views of the management will get promoted. Criticism is met with strong opposition.

Fact: communication has been the weakest (but most important!) point since leadership change and the 'transformation' started. Anything that would not go down well with employees was forced through and presented after final decision was made. Even though feedback was requested, none of the decisions were altered/reversed.

Very good. Of course in the upper ranks it is a battlefield - but that is expected for a consulting company or any other company in general.

Currently viewed partly as bodyleasing company partly strategic. We want to move more in the direction of the latter, efforts are going on but we really need to push this.
Work-Life Balance
Reall dependent on project phases. Sometimes a wild ride. Consulting itself is well - consulting. You sometimes have to work really hard (e.g. final weeks of a project) there the worklife balance is on hold for some time. But that is honestly part of consulting itself. On the other hand you have a lot of flexibility and can work whenever you want to. It is just not a 9-5 job.
Career/Professional development
The freedom to delevop yourself in whatever direction you want to. You can change as you wish the department you are in - very nice. You get a lot of trust instatly from your superiors. Flat hierachies, and this is no bussword. Every cosultant has a say and is on the same level. Juniors are valued and can talk to senior consultants face to face without restritions. Of course every one has a superior but it doesnt get more flat that the model there is currently. The collegues are very helpfull and also very insightful. For a consulting company there are quite some SMEs from whom you can learn a lot.
Salary/Social benefits
The salary expecially for juniors is rather low - but promotions are also very fast to an acceptable level. The problem here is at it is no 9.5 job, it should be rewarded more than regular industry jobs. That is also why a lot of consultants generelly change after Arcondis to the industry. Arcondis needs to set better incentives to keep the high talents. This may have been one of the reasons for high fluctuations. With the newCEO two additional holyday are back which were cut last year - the Leadership does listen to its employees but more could be done. More Benefits even some small ones would be appreciated. I mean we get special christmas presents and (pre covid) a lot of free afterwork drink partys :) BUT I mean in the end we are there for the money.

Best Ive ever worked with. The highworkload periods forges the team together eventhough sometimes you are annoyed at each other :D. Always a friendly atmosphere where y ou can approach anyone whatever his position. Biggest plus point for Arcondis!

Very dependend on the superior.. some are good some are mediocre but they all care atleast for their employees in their own way. It is very individual. Me personally I am on a good level with most :).
Working conditions
Offices in Reinach are at least mediocre. It is in the middle of nowhere and not good connected. They should move the offices to a more approachable stop somewhere in basel. BUT again as a consultant you are really rarely at the offices but rather at the client site (atleast in pre Covid times) so it doesnt matter much. Anyway you get a free iPhone :D.
Communication
Mediocre - Most of the times it is good but sometimes not. E.g. two holidays got cut by just sending an email - then later on reinstated. But I can see a somewhat upward trend.
Equality
We now have a diversity squad which raises the topic of having more females in the leadership team and generelly as we are still under par. So moving in the right direction. BUT In my experience the female collegues are most of the time way more qualified then the male counterparts! (:P)
Interesting tasks
If you are lucky there can be VERY interesting projects. Projects can be very strategic like other "textbook" big4 projects. But can also be very boring software implementations :D. As a junior you dont really have a say in where you get staffed, but as you get more contacts within the company and proactivly approach people and communicate your intestest you increase you chances of getting staffed properly. But well project standard is on par with industry standard. Dont actually see a lot of potential to improve it - it is just the way it is.

"We make healthcare better" ist nicht nur ein Slogan, sondern eine echte Purpose für alle die, welche eine sinnstiftende Arbeit bevorzugen. Es ist ungemein spannend, ganz vorne mit dabei zu sein bei Innovation in Healthcare und Life Science.

Es gibt nichts wirklich Schlechtes.

Das Management hat offenbar erkannt, dass man auch mal den Fuss vom Change-Pedal nehmen kann und es ganz produktiv sein kann, die Maschine einfach mal laufen zu lassen.
Working atmosphere
Arcondis hat in den letzten 12 Monaten einen kompletten Turnaround und tiefgreifende Transformation hinter sich, und dies im Jahr von Covid-19. Die Fahrt war verständlicherweise nicht ruckelfrei - dennoch ist grosser Zusammenhalt spürbar, und der Glaube an eine erfolgreiche Zukunft sehr präsent.

Der Brand bekam ein Facelifting, der neue Auftritt ist sehr gefällig und "fresh". Die Webite wurde komplett neu gestaltet und ging im Oktober live. Bei vielen Kunden geniesst Arcondis ein extrem hohes Ansehen.

Wer um 19 Uhr den Griffel weglegen will, sollte nicht Consultant werden. Dennoch ist man bei Arcondis weit entfernt vom ausbeuterischen Modell der Big 4. Die Soll-Arbeitszeit ist 40 Stunden, und wer nicht mehr arbeitet, wird auch nicht schräg angeschaut. Überstunden werden erfasst.

Man ist seines eigenen Glückes Schmied! Es gibt ein Weiterbildungsbudget, jede und jeder kann in diesem Rahmen mit dem Mentor und dem/der Vorgesetzten über den eigenen Weg entscheiden.

Das Grundgehalt ist nicht umwerfend, aber das Bonusmodell ist sehr attraktiv. Die AG ist im Besitz einer Stiftung, es gibt keine Aktionäre, die den Gewinn in Form von Dividende abschöpfen. Der gesamte Gewinn nach Steuern und Reserven geht direkt zurück in den Bonuspott!

Die "3N" (Nostalgiker, Neinsager und Nörgler) sind langsam alle von Bord gegangen. Es wurden in 2020 über 40 neue Kolleginnen und Kollegen eingestellt, die alle das Team verstärkt und neuen Elan gebracht haben und herzlich aufgenommen wurden.

Individuell unterschiedlich. Flache Hierarchien, und man ist seines Schicksal eigener Herr. Es gibt ein Mentoring und ein Coaching Programm, und seit neustem einen Global Head of Emploee Development und Engagement.

Das Büro ist nicht sehr sexy, aber man soll als Consultant ja auch beim Kunden arbeiten... Es gibt offenbar Pläne für einen kompletten Umbau. Kaffee (Nespresso), Softdrinks, Früchte und Süssigkeiten sind gratis. Hardware und Software sind top, Handy darf auch privat genutzt werden.
Communication
Bedingt durch das Tempo der Transformation wurden nicht alle Management Entscheide mit der gleichen Transparenz und Direktheit kommuniziert. Manches muss sich noch einspielen im komplett ausgetauschten Senior Management. In den letzten Monaten waren starke Verbeserungen spürbar.
Equality
Arcondis hat auf Stude des Senior Management ein Diversity Issue. Ansonsten wird man hier einzig an den Skills und der Perfomance gemessen. Ethnie, Gender, Alter, Orientierung usw sind kein Thema.
Interesting tasks
Arcondis ist nur in Healthcare und Life Science unterwegs, und viele Projekte sind absolut cutting edge in Forschung, Entwicklung und Produktion. Man hat eine echte Chance, "to make healthcare better" und kann einen nachhaltigen Beitrag für Patientinnen und Patienten leisten.

Kollegen und Vorgesetzt sehr nett, man kann selbst als Praktikant ohne Probleme mit dem CEO sprechen gehen und wird ernst genommen.

Die Arbeitsbedingungen sind gut, man sollte jedoch einen gewissen Unternehmensgeist haben und es schätzen selbst Verantwortung übernehmen zu können / müssen. Jede*r Arbeiter*In (vom Junior bis CEO) kann sich ein Mentor innerhalb der Firma aussuchen, der einem Coacht.

Die Kommunikation ist gut, wenn man ein extrovertierter Mensch ist. Da jedoch im Moment viele Änderungen anstehen, gehen zum teil wichtige Informationen in der Flut verloren. Das muss sich in Zukunft unbedingt ändern. Auch die Kommunikation vom Senior Management muss klarer werden.

Der Gehalt ist für die Branche relativ Tief. Jedoch kann man mit dem Bonus und Überstunden auf ein ansehnliches Gehalt kommen
