It was awesome!
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Working in a small, international and interdisciplinary team was fascinating.
Work-Life-Balance
There was no pressure. Instead, I had a very strong intrinsic motivation which got me working longer than usual. However, there was still plenty of time for activities after work.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
A university is actually a place where you earn your PhD and then leave.
Gehalt/Benefits
It's clear that you won't have a high salary during an internship at a university. But the work you can do there is just worth every penny you can't spend ;-)
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The team members were open-minded and kind. Coffee breaks were both inspiring and fun
Vorgesetztenverhalten
No micro-management. Instead, my supervisor gave me a lot of freedom on what experiments I want to perform and how my time-management looks like.
Interessante Aufgaben
The project topic was very interesting. And it's just awesome to work in a well equipped laboratory.
