Not recommendable, but slowly improving.
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
- Free coffee
- Meal offered by the company a few times per year, as Team event.
- People that can’t accumulate overtime have ~5 extra days of holiday each year.
- Preferential price on company’s products (the non-conformed articles from production actually!)
- Good atmosphere within each departments (but not between departments)
- Gifts in nature (chocolate) for Easter and Christmas
- Cantine with affordable prices
- Free parking
- Ice cream offered in summer during heat waves
- Last but not least, no restructuration plan (= no firing) if not enough work and projects.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
- Many people don’t say hello and don’t answer when they are greeted in the morning.
- Extremely hierarchical structure.
- Employees are considered valueless by the higher management, in my view.
- The management’s decision is always the best one (according to themselves)
- Not so good atmosphere between departments (but good within each department).
- Some colleagues do not answer emails nor phone calls; one cannot rely on some colleagues even for a basic meeting/discussion.
- Some equipment is several decades old (but still working)
- I found some behaviours towards customers to be not deontological
- I had the impression that colleagues that were regularly, or for a long time, sick were often fired. I became good at predicting that someone would be fired based on his (her) absence.
- I was surprised by the number of employees that left the company every year (voluntarily or not).
- Very low salary. There is an end year bonus, but very low. Altogether, remuneration is low.

Safety standards, especially with handling with chemicals, should be improved.
