in general, with few exceptions, the colleagues were really cool and it was a good team spirit.

Being a consultant is tough work, rarely valued and the people on top of operations will crush you if you don't react fast and leave the company when the bad vibes start.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Get rid of the leadership of the operations department as soon as possible, don't destroy more life/spirits/young careers.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The operations department has been led by fear, doubt and constant mobbing from the top (excluding C Level and exclusively Operations) for years. Huge employee turnover speaks for itself. Young/fresh consultants can only hope to not be targeted by the Head, otherwise months/years of mobbing will start until one is leaving.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Internally, the team is well off and colleagues treat eachother with respect and working is usually fun, apart from 1-2 rather senior team members who are very close to the Head.
Work-Life-Balance
It's ok. Rather strict working hours, someone has always to be there during lunch, holidays can not be "too" long. Promised things like home office are usually not rbecoming reality.

Quite challenging, but very interesting nonetheless.

It doesn't matter if you are old or young, if you are the least favorite person, the mobbing will engulf.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Standard salary, usually, if you are coming from abroad (i.e. india) the operations leadership will try to get you for the lowest possible. Not surprisingly, many new employees (and of course old ones during the last decade) are or were from india and exposed to these practices.
Social contributions are nothing to call home about, it's the bare legal minimum.
