Don’t risk your liver
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Not much at the end
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
They try to trick you til the end about money, taxes etc you need to be extra careful
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Hire competent manager and be more human
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Everything starts nice, but as soon as you’re in the season they all stress out and none of them is actually able to do their job
Image
They have a sticker “best place to work 2024” which made me hope at first, but then I saw the kind of questionary HR does to get that kind of valuation and I understood that was a big lie; many other colleagues complaint expecially about transparency of the company
Work-Life-Balance
One day off per month is a nice work-life balance for you? And stolen extra hours at the end of the season?
Karriere/Weiterbildung
I was a seasonal and they didn’t keep the promised made
Gehalt/Benefits
You have lots of benefits that you will never use. The salary was not bad afterall but I was supposed to take much more for the amount of job I was actually doing; never saw the spa cause I’ve never had the actual time off I was promised; they tell you that you have food and accomodation but the food is just leftovers and the accomodation is with mug
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
We had to work in the kitchen with no electricity providing full menu even though we discussed to serve only cold dishes. You know how dangerous it is to work in a kitchen with knives and fires without electricity? On our request to slow down the manager told us to don’t be dramatic. HR never took actions
Kollegenzusammenhalt
We were very lucky and we found an amazing team, just they soon tried to turn one against another because we were not comfortable for them as a proper team. They wanted us apart
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Older colleagues are always favored over young ones, even when without experience
Vorgesetztenverhalten
They are always in a meeting when you try to reach them out, if you are lucky they pretend to listen to your problems but basically they threaten you with stupid little laws like "if you don't go to work you need to pay 1/3 of your salary” yes dude and what about my 2 days per week off right then?
Arbeitsbedingungen
You work under lots of stress caused from the manager and not from the job itself and there’s not clear communication regarding opening evening’s day, menu, big reservations etc
Kommunikation
They tell you during the interview that German is not required, but as long as they start stress out if you don’t speak German you’re automatically cutted out from any conversation and many time they would just talk bad about you in front of you because “you can’t understand”. Always go with a basic knowledge of the hosting language to catch them!
Gleichberechtigung
They are very racist; if you are not German speaking person you will feel it even though at the interview is not mentioned!
Interessante Aufgaben
There's nothing interesting, is a very simple job that anyone can do (if they can)
