Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The change. It's stressful and often I don't see where exactly it's going, but all in all it's changed for the better.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

For us as employees, big structural changes often come with a short lead time and it would be better to have more time to adapt.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

More feedback from middle management would be nice.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Leo has been in transition for more than a year from an old company with a partly dubious past to a modern financial services provider. It is interesting to see how the old and new parts are linked and there have been exciting changes in the last year.

Kommunikation

I suppose it's like everywhere else. At least where I've worked so far it's always been similar: lots of emails, lots of chats, sometimes something gets lost, sometimes you wonder why you're sitting in this meeting.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

In general, the team spirit is good. When I started, there was a good introduction and the supervisors make an effort to support me. (Though, some of the team think of the "good old days" because they can't cope with the change...)

Work-Life-Balance

As always, you can't avoid a few hours of overtime, but that's less due to the company itself than to the customers who think they still have to call at 6.30 pm for a long conversation.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The hierarchy is flat but not always easy to understand. The teams work in different groups depending on the topic and sometimes I am not sure who is actually in charge or should be.

Interessante Aufgaben

Absolutely! The change within the company claims for new tasks and areas of activity in which I have been able to contribute as well. Its good to see the own work having some "internal impact" on processes

Gleichberechtigung

There are no women in the management, but as team leaders. I see no systematic problems for women or parents or elderly employees or colleagues from abroad.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Depending on the "age", this is different. Last year there was new software, new programmes, new systems, new requirements... Those who at a "certain age" can no longer keep up with digital change have a problem, just like everywhere else. But the mostly younger employees go to a lot of trouble to explain things anew every week until even the older ones have understood them.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The office is easy to reach in the city centre and has space. We have moved twice in the last year and have finally arrived in the right premises. The move and the offices in transition were stressful, but now it is very pleasant. The offices are large and bright, some with a beautiful view of the river, therefore the five stars. While moving and turning last year, more like three stars.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

There is too much printing and the coffee is from a capsule machine that produces a lot of waste.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

It's the financial sector, but Leo is not a world-leading bank where everyone earns six figures straight away. The salary is fair, good performance is compensated as a bonus.

Image

Last year there was a big bang and Leo was in the media. Since we have the new management, the image is being improved and rebuilt, but too often people still think of the old structures and people when they talk about Leo. Maybe they sould read the more current interviews and articles, not the one from last summer.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

With the introduction of the new programmes and processes, there was a lot of training from the younger colleagues who built and developed these things. That helped a lot and I really felt supported.
